Our first three bags for a boost have been delivered! And the best part, we’ve received some great feedback.
One recipient said it was “an unexpected and wonderful surprise” and was extremely grateful.

We’re currently collecting for a husband and wife who lost their high-school-aged son last year. We’ll be collecting for these recipients until February 14.

Progress in Just One Week
Since last week’s launch, here’s our progress:
- 335 members are now part of the MRP Project Facebook group!
- Six people have been nominated for a bag.
- 30+ people have donated items.
- 3 people donated more than $300 cash.
The response has been amazing. By next week, I intend to have five out of the six bags put together and delivered.
Our Nominees
Four of our nominees are women. Two of whom recently lost their husbands. One mom’s young child passed away just a few weeks ago and another mom lost her high school aged child last year.
One of our male nominees is caring for a wife who has a terminal illness and a child who recently had surgery. The other lost his high school aged child last year.
How to Donate
Individual items. Purchase an item(s) for $10 or less for a woman and/or man. You can designate a recipient if you wish, but you don’t have to. Mail it to 1 Maria Lane Hopkinton, MA, 01748 or drop it off in the bin beside the mailbox. You can also email MRP8Project@gmail.com and I’ll make arrangements to get it from you.
A whole bunch of items. Want to gather lots of items? We have a fun way to do it. What’s better than Girls (Boys) Night Out? Girls (Boys) Night In for a Good Cause.
Invite a group of friends over. Ask everyone to bring one of their favorite items ($10 or less). Put all the items together and there’s one bag donation. You can also ask your friends to bring more than one of the same item so you can swap with each other (or donate more to us)! It’s that easy. Then just make arrangements to get it to us.
We’ll put the items together in our signature bag and include an uplifting note. We’ll deliver the bag to someone in need or the person of your choice.
