In my last post, I talked about how as parents we should lend one hand, not two. I received a lot of great feedback about this post. So, when I saw this other piece of advice on Facebook recently, I decided to share it with you.
A former teacher and coach from my high school recently posted this great information. Along with the picture he said it was how his mom raised him (see below). I didn’t know until after Mike passed (when my former teacher shared his personal story with me) that his father died when he was an infant. This teacher reached out to me and let me know how amazing his mom was, while also providing motivating words of encouragement to me. I will never forget it.
