Dear MRP Project,
Thank you so very much for brightening my day this past week! My son’s birthday was on Tuesday. He had many items delivered via mail, which I placed aside for him. This box was placed in the pile for my son. Much to my surprise, as I was doling out his gifts, I found this box addressed to me! It was quite a wonderful surprise and you thought of so many thoughtful items! I was truly surprised and touched.Since my husband passed, it has been a difficult transition navigating these ever changing waters. Your “random act of kindness” touched my soul and brought me to tears! Thank you for my gifts, but more importantly for your mission and your intention in your generous giving. I love your individual approach and accessibility to give. Please let me know how I can donate.
Once again I’m sharing feedback with you because The MRP Project couldn’t do its great work without you. It’s your donations that are the “thoughtful items” our recipient wrote about. And it’s your donations that brightened her day.
And it just happened to be her son’s first birthday without his Dad. I can tell you from my experiences those days were bad days. So to know we made it better for this grieving Mom makes me so happy.
Thank you!
