Spots are limited so if you’re interested in this 6- week parent education series, contact us today! The class will meet on Wednesdays starting on October 6 in Hopkinton, MA, starting at 7 p.m. and will run about an hour to an hour an a half.
Raising Resilient Kids is for parents who want to ensure their child can positively and productively overcome life’s obstacles. The series highlights the essential role obstacles play in children’s development. The facilitators discourage parents from trying to “fix problems.”
Instead, we discuss specific behaviors, thoughts, and actions to help children cope with their feelings in a specific situation. These strategies can then be used to help deal with similar feelings in the future.

I recently finished the Raising Resilient Kids program, and it totally exceeded my expectations! The information and strategies I learned were incredibly relevant and helpful for me and my entire family.
Kristen and Meghan have developed an insightful, engaging program and they make a fabulous team. Kristen’s personal resilience story is so admirable – and her friendly, welcoming manner make her an amazing teacher and inspiration. Meghan has the professional background and comfortable nature to simultaneously educate, motivate, and personally connect with people on an individual basis. I’m waiting for them to write a book!
I found myself really looking forward to attending every week. In addition to being educational, the meetings were a nice reset in my otherwise hectic life…a reminder to be present and stay focused… an opportunity to share with others and realize that I am not alone in my frustrations.
Any parent can benefit from this! Whether you or your child(ren) have experienced an extremely traumatic event, or you are just trying to cope with the daily challenges and frustrations in life – you will find strategies, techniques and actual language to use with your children that can really make a difference. — Stacey M.
