Meet Our Board of Directors
Kristen Pedroli Pierce, Executive Director and President of The MRP Project’s Board
Kristen serves as the executive director and president of The MRP Project’s Board. Kristen brings more than a decade of communications experience. She holds a position as internal communications manager in a large organization.
Through her own personal tragedy (the death of her husband in 2016), Kristen saw a need for social and emotional support in the community. Through The MRP Project, she hopes to carry on her late husband’s passion for community service and mentoring.
Mary Doherty, Vice President of The MRP Project’s Board
Mary serves as vice president for The MRP Project’s Board. She is the founder and president of a NH-based nonprofit, Teachers and Paws Project, Inc. (TAPP), and holds a leadership position in a procurement organization.
Mary is a loving “dog mom” to her beloved best friend, Murphy. Active in her community and supporter of many charities, she served for several years as the president of FRIENDS of the Humane Society for Greater Nashua (HSFN), an all-volunteer organization that provided volunteer services, raised funds, and increased community interest in HSFN.
Jennifer Robinson, CPA, Treasurer of The MRP Project’s Board
Jenn serves as treasurer for The MRP Project’s Board. She brings more than twenty years of experience in financial operations and financial management reporting. Jennifer currently works as the senior director of Finance & Controller at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Meghan McGuire, LICSW, Raising Resilient Kids Co-Facilitator
Meghan McGuire is a Certified Elementary School Counselor in Ashland, MA. She has a BA in Psychology from Providence College, an MA in Counseling Psychology from Boston College, and a CAGS in Resiliency in the Helping Professions from Assumption College. Meghan has been working with children and families in various capacities for twenty years. In her free time, Meghan loves spending time with her husband, 3 sons, and rescue mutt, Bailey.
Tim Heavey
Tim serves on the Board as The MRP Project’s director of education. A career educator, Tim is currently working as the director of Human Resources at Weston Public Schools. He is passionate about empowering educators to drive improved outcomes for all students.
