Last week we were out of town all week watching Matthew compete in a national baseball tournament for 10-year-olds. It was a great family vacation and a valuable learning experience for Matt. And the best part is I never have to wonder if Mike is aware of what’s going on in our lives.
We received 3 amazing signs that I wanted to share.
- A couple months ago Matt had to choose three numbers for his jersey. His last choice was number 8 (which was Mike’s number). Guess what!?! That’s the number the coach gave him!
- The day we were leaving Matt was sitting on the couch and he yelled to me! He was very excited because there was a cardinal sitting right on our deck peering in through the sliding glass door. Every time there’s a cardinal in the yard, I tell the kids it’s a sign from their Dad. Matt knew right away that his father was wishing him good luck in his tournament.
- And the last sign was when we were at the tournament and Matt was getting up for an important at bat. During this game, they played walk-up music for the kids when it was their turn to bat. There was a whole range of genres from hip hop to country to rock. Matt’s song was the one song Mike used to play for Matt to pump him up before hockey games. I just shook my head and smiled! And Matt went on to get a base hit and drove a run in!
There’s nothing better than to receive signs from our loved ones who have passed. We just have to be open and aware.
I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe!
He’s ALWAYS watching😇
Wonderful, the love continues.
Congratulations to Matt!
Thank you. It was an amazing experience for him.
So true!! We know they’re spirits are with us. We need to be open to see. 🤗

Thanks for the ‘signs’… Reminds me that I may not be paying enough attention to the one’s in front of me..
