I recently had a conversation with a family member who is going through a difficult time. She said one of the hardest things to answer is the “what-can-I-do-for-you” question she often gets from friends or family.
I’ve touched upon this before, but my family member really drove the point home. She said, “I don’t even want them to ask the question. I just want them to take action.” She went on to say that it’s hard to be that blunt when people ask the question. So, she usually says nothing. But inside she’s screaming, just drop off a dinner!
While it’s more difficult to take action during these unprecedented times, I challenge you to ‘just do it.’ Do something for a loved one who could use the help!
