We had to postpone the fundraiser again! I’m sorry. But unfortunately, it’s the world we’re living in. I’m hopeful we can actually do it on October 3. I thank you so much for your patience. If you’d like a refund, please email me.
In the meantime, the good news is that we’re putting your donations to good use. Our bags for a boost are providing some much-needed happiness to our recipients. So far, we’ve delivered 10 bags to nurses working on the front lines. We’ve also been delivering a bag a week to people who are suffering the loss of loved ones.
Last week, our recipient was a woman who lost her husband last year and her mom to coronavirus a few weeks ago. The person who nominated her said: My friend has been in such a bad place for a long time, the bag really helped. Thank you!
It’s hard to raise kids, but lately the conversations have gotten much harder. Our kids have had to deal with a lot these past few months. That’s why we’re moving forward with a pilot program called Raising Resilient Kids. Stayed tuned for more information coming out next week!
